Responsible Beverage Sales and Service Training

The REACH program provides training that assists liquor permit holders and their employees to understand state, local, and establishment laws and policies. Participants will learn the necessary skills to comply with these policies.

Assembly Bill 1221 and the Business and Professions Code- 25682 states as of August 31, 2022, it is mandatory that all on-sale establishments have their alcohol servers obtain this certification.

An alcohol server includes anyone who does any of the following:

Checks customer identification for purposes of

alcoholic beverage service or entry to an ABC

on-premises licensed establishment

Takes customer alcoholic beverage orders

Pours alcoholic beverages for customers

Delivers alcoholic beverages to customers
